Second performance of Tulips as we all are 3 - The story of Princess Meya

A composition for solo piano inspired by Romanian folk music.

The main tune from the first movement (Princess Meya's childhood in the village) is a tune in Romanian folk style composed by Martha-Maria Mitu in 2019 for a composition called Tulips as we all are for violin, dance, electronic and visual art. Susequently, Tulips as we all are became a series of folk-inspired pieces, where no.3 tells the story of the character invented for this particular composition - Princess Meya.

The piece is devided in 6 distinguishable movements, where each one accounts for a part of Meya's life.
